The Wayne State University College of Education, founded in 1881, began as a teacher’s college and has since grown to offer award-winning, nationally recognized bachelor's, master's, education specialist, and doctoral degrees. Over the past 20 years, the college has expanded to include programs in various divisions, such as Kinesiology, Health and Sport Studies, Theoretical and Behavioral Foundations, and Administrative and Organizational Studies. Today, we are proud to educate nearly 4,000 students annually.
