The Student Emergency Fund supports students who face unexpected hardships that have an immediate impact on their personal or academic well-being, such as job loss or unstable housing. Since its inception, the Student Emergency Fund has had a transformational impact on the lives of several education students — allowing one student to purchase a new laptop to replace one that was damaged in a house fire and allowing another student to stay enrolled while battling health complications and the accompanying medical bills.
