Every season begins with a single step.

For Wayne State Cross Country & Track & Field student-athletes, that step is followed by countless early mornings, challenging workouts and unwavering determination. The Warrior Run-A-Thon celebrates that commitment while inviting alumni, family, friends and supporters to help our teams prepare for the 2026-27 season.

Every gift helps provide the resources our student-athletes need to train, compete and proudly represent Wayne State University.

Your support makes an immediate impact.
🏃 $25 helps provide training and recovery supplies.
🏃 $50 helps support team meals and travel expenses during competition.
🏃 $100 helps provide winter apparel and essential equipment.
🏃 $250 helps prepare student-athletes for Cross Country Camp and Track Camp.
🏃 Every collectively gift helps strengthen the student-athlete experience.

Beyond competition, Wayne State student-athletes are committed to making a difference. Since 2007, they have contributed more than 100,000 hours of community service, serving neighborhoods throughout Detroit while representing the Green and Gold with pride. Your generosity helps them continue that tradition while pursuing excellence in the classroom, on the course and on the track.
