Our Chemical Engineering students are resilient and hardworking.
Students arrive on day one with a clear sense of purpose, knowing they were meant to be chemical engineers. At Wayne State, it is common to see a student finish a third shift at 6:00 a.m. and arrive for an 8:30 a.m. lecture. Others balance a 40-hour work week while taking a full engineering course load.
