About

Giving Day contributions of every size make a major difference! Support one of these projects today or give to another area that helps the Mike Ilitch School of Business.

  • Today only, the Mike Ilitch School of Business Alumni Council will match every dollar given to the MISB Alumni Council Fund, up to $2,050, doubling your impact on enhancing student experiences.
  • Ready! Set! Give! Once 20 gifts are made to the Technology, Information Systems and Analytics (TISA) Department, a generous $1,200 gift, from TISA Department Chair, Dr. Rhoda Joseph, will be unlocked!
  • Triple your impact! Anonymous brothers from the Delta Sigma Pi Gamma Theta Fraternity are providing a 2-to-1 match for all gifts made to the Delta Sigma Pi Gamma Theta Endowed Scholarship – up to $14,000!

Student Engagement and Active Learning Lab (SEAL Lab)

  • Today only, Dean Kleist will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for all contributions made to the Student Engagement and Active Learning (SEAL) Lab Fund – up to $2,000!

At the Mike Ilitch School of Business, we seek to elevate our students' talent and provide the resources needed to persist from our classrooms to careers by centralizing many student resources to create a robust system of support. The SEAL Lab will be a dedicated resource hub that provides opportunities for students to level up their skills and compete with graduates from any top business school. By focusing on skill development, international engagement, career readiness and increased student support, the Ilitch School is shaping the future of business in Detroit. The majority of our graduates stay in Michigan, contributing to the local workforce and growing the state’s economy.

Multicultural Professional Readiness Educational Program (MPREP)

  • Ready! Set! Give! Once 25 gifts are made to the Multicultural Professional Readiness Education Program (MPREP), a $25,000 gift from Lottie Holland, M.B.A. β€˜06 will be unlocked!

Our Multicultural Professional Readiness Educational Program, or MPREP, provides key support, encouragement, development, and experiential opportunities for first-generation students of color who don’t have that person at home to lean on for educational support in the business world. MPREP builds students up to be the best during their time at the Ilitch School of Business through three pillars: Academic Accountability; Industry Exposure; and Mentorship. MPREP needs funding to not only impact more students across the board, but also increase the availability and accessibility of the experiences that the MPREP program has to offer. The opportunities are endless, and the impact is tremendous. I hope you will join us in this endeavor. If you’d like to learn more about the MPREP program, visit ilitchbusiness.wayne.edu/mprep. This is a truly dynamic program that serves the student population that needs our support.

  • Ready! Set! Give! Once 25 gifts are made to the Mike Ilitch Business School Scholarships fund a $25,000 gift from Mark Rolling ’91, M.B.A. ’97 will be unlocked!

  • But that’s not all! Two anonymous donors are matching also matching gifts to the MISB Scholarships fund – up to $1,000!
