About

Giving Day contributions of every size make a major difference! Support TechTown Detroit today.

TechTown helps Detroiters pursue their dreams and revitalize their neighborhoods.

Throughout more than 16 years TechTown Detroit has supported 5,371 businesses at our Midtown hub and in neighborhoods across Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park. These businesses created 2,277 jobs and raised $385 million in startup capital.

From neighborhood fixtures like Southwest Detroit’s Sicily’s Pizza to Downtown’s House of Pure Vin and Rivertown’s Breadless, TechTown’s impact on Detroit neighborhoods continues to grow.

Retail Boot Camp, which is currently training its 14th cohort, TechTown has helped some of your favorite businesses launch their brick-and-mortar locations across the city. Now YOU can support future Detroit retail gems by donating to this spring’s Retail Boot Camp pitch competition winners!

At the Retail Boot Camp Showcase on May 23, program participants will pitch their retail concept for a chance to win $5,000. If you help us reach our goal of $10,000, two aspiring entrepreneurs will see their dreams of grand openings come true and contribute to the revitalization and reimagining of their Detroit neighborhoods. Join us on May 23 where you can sit in the front row and see aspiring entrepreneurs turn their dreams into reality!
