For the past six years Wayne State University has hosted a Giving Day every spring as a means to tell a wide range of Wayne State stories in a way that inspires individuals far and wide. For our seventh year, the Mike Ilitch School of Business is striving to make it our best yet by engaging our student population!
Give today to participate in the following matches and challenges:
- Ready! Set! Give! Once the Ilitch Student Challenge has raised $1,000, a $1,000 gift from an anonymous donor will be unlocked.
- The Mike Ilitch School of Business Alumni Council will match every dollar given to the Ilitch Student Challenge – up to $3,000!
- Additionally, Dean Kleist will match Giving Day donations to the Ilitch Student Challenge – up to $1,000!
Mike Ilitch School of Business Student Challenge
Our students have grit and determination, command respect, have integrity, and so many other distinctive traits that make them unique to Ilitch Business. This year, we are calling on our student population to make gifts according to their class year to show support for Dean Virginia Kleist’s vision for the future of our business education programs. All funds raised will go toward Dean Kleist’s discretionary fund to aid her in executing her goals of raising the bar for Ilitch students through new investments in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, inclusivity and more.
This fund also aids her ability to be responsive to student needs, like the upcoming first-ever Mike Ilitch School of Business Student Gala. This event will allow the students to dress to the nines and network, all while having an enjoyable time and honoring their fellow students. We are proud to inspire a community of philanthropy at the Mike Ilitch School of Business, no matter the level of giving.
Any donation amount is acceptable, but we encourage you to make your gift according to your class year. For example, a student in the class of 2024 would make a gift of $20.24.
Achieve your charitable goals and create your WSU legacy with a gift in your estate plan.
