- Once 40 donors make a gift to the College of Engineering, a generous $40,000 gift from Dr. Bob A. Smith ’60, M.A. ’74 will be unlocked!
- All donations to the John G. Wright Memorial Endowed Scholarship will be matched dollar-for-dollar by an anonymous donor – up to $5,000!

- The College of Fine Performing and Communication Arts Board of Visitors will match donations to the CFPCA Dean’s Student Success Fund – up to $14,000!
- All donations to the Music Scholarships Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Marion Ringe ’70, M.A. ’77 – up to $7,500!

- All donations to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Marion Ringe ’70, M.A. ’77 – up to $7,950!
- Once 20 donors give to the CLAS Psychology Clinic, a generous $1,000 gift from Dean Stephanie Hartwell will be unlocked!
- An anonymous donor is matching donations to the Gayle L. McCreedy Memorial Scholarship in History – up to $4,000!
- An anonymous donor is matching donations to the Political Science Student Opportunities Fund – up to $10,000.
- Once 20 donors give to the WSU Planetarium, a generous $1,000 gift from Dean Stephanie Hartwell will be unlocked!
🩺 College of Nursing:
- Once 50 donors make a gift to the College of Nursing, a generous $2,000 gift from Dean Ramona Benkert will be unlocked!
- All donations to the Board of Visitors Student Success Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $8,000 by the College of Nursing Board of Visitors.
- Dean Ramona Benkert will match donations to the College of Nursing Scholarship Fund up to $1,000.
📔 Crockett-Lumumba Scholars Program: Associate Professor and Interim Director of the Crockett-Lumumba Scholars program, David Goldberg, is matching Giving Day donations to the Crockett-Lumumba Scholars program– up to $500!
🔬 Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences:
- To celebrate WSU Applebaum’s 100th Anniversary, the WSU Applebaum Board of Visitors will provide a $100 gift each for the first 100 donations made to the college – up to $10,000!
- All donations to the Applied Health Sciences Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Family Heritage Fund – up to $10,000!
- Once $2,500 is raised for the Pharmacy Annual Fund, a $1,000 gift from Associate Dean Susan Davis will be unlocked!
🏠 Freer House and Garden: Once the Freer House and Garden has raised $2,500 on Giving Day, a $1,250 gift, $1,000 from Lillian and Walter Dean and $250 from the Garden Club of Michigan, will be unlocked!
🌎 Humanities Center: Once 10 donors make a gift to the Dr. Walter F. Edwards Endowed Brown Bag Colloquium Series, a generous $1,000 gift from Jaime Goodrich will be unlocked.
🧾 Irvin D. Reid Honors College:
- Bob and Jeri Kelch are matching Giving Day donations to the Honors College – up to $30,000!
- Become a monthly donor! Dean John Corvino will provide a $100 gift for every new monthly donor to the Honors College Finish Line Endowed Fund – up to $5,000!
- Alum Dr. Bob Pettapiece, '80 will match all gifts to the Honors College Finish Line Endowed Fund – up to $5,000.
- For every gift made by an Honors College alum from 2008 – 2023, a gift of $50 from an anonymous donor will be unlocked – up to a total of $1,000!
🔰 Wayne Law: Alum E. Powell Miller, JD ’86, is generously matching all gifts to Wayne Law, up to $1 million, through September 30, 2024. This six-month challenge can potentially generate $2 million in total support for the school's programs, students and faculty. Every gift counts toward the match, and donors are encouraged to support areas meaningful to them. Miller's contribution will be directed to a program of his choosing within the school.
💼 Mike Ilitch School of Business:
- Dean Kleist will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for all contributions made to the Student Engagement & Active Learning (SEAL) Lab Fund – up to $2,000!
- The Mike Ilitch School of Business Alumni Council will match every dollar given to the MISB Alumni Council fund, up to $2,050, doubling your impact on enhancing student experiences.
- Once 25 gifts are made to the Multicultural Professional Readiness Education Program (MPREP) a $25,000 gift from Lottie Holland, M.B.A. ‘06 will be unlocked!
- Once 25 gifts are made to the Mike Ilitch Business School Scholarships fund a $25,000 gift from Mark Rolling ’91, M.B.A. ’97 will be unlocked!
- Anonymous brothers from the Delta Sigma Pi Gamma Theta Fraternity are providing a 2-to-1 match for all gifts made to the Delta Sigma Pi Gamma Theta Endowed Scholarship – up to $14,000!
- RSM is matching Giving Day donations to the Mike Ilitch Business School Scholarships fund – up to $2,500! But that’s not all! Two anonymous donors are matching also matching gifts to the MISB Scholarships fund – up to $1,000!
- Once 20 gifts are made to the Technology, Information Systems and Analytics (TISA) Department, a generous $1,200 gift, from TISA Department Chair, Dr. Rhoda Joseph, will be unlocked!
🥼 School of Medicine: All donations to the Medical Alumni Annual Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the School of Medicine Board of Governors – up to $58,000!
🤝 School of Social Work: Once 50 individuals have made a gift to the School of Social Work on Giving Day a generous $5,000 gift from our Board of Visitors will be unlocked!
📚 University Libraries: Two anonymous donors will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for all contributions made to the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library – up to $1,000!
