Why does Wayne State host Giving Day?
Giving Day is a way to engage alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends through an annual philanthropy event in April. This one-day endeavor creates an opportunity to tell a range of Wayne State stories in a way that inspires support for our critical programs.
Can I send my gift in via mail?
Giving Day is time-limited, so we strongly encourage you to make your gift online on Thursday, April 10. However, if we receive your mailed gift by April 10 with “Giving Day 2025” in the memo line your gift will be counted towards the day’s total. Contact our team at givingday@wayne.edu to let us know we can count on your support!
What payment methods do you accept online?
In addition to debit and credit cards, you can make your gift using PayPal, Venmo, GooglePay or ApplePay.
I made a gift earlier this year. Will that count towards Giving Day?
Thank you for supporting Wayne State this year! For Giving Day, we are only counting gifts made specifically towards the campaign.
If you would like to share your love for Wayne State and support Giving Day, we encourage you to make an additional gift on April 10!
I’ve made my Giving Day gift. How else can I help?
Thank you for your gift! We encourage you to show your love for Wayne State and celebrate Giving Day within your social networks.
